      Accident Report

      After hours call script

      • Ask if anyone involved is injured

      • Ask if police has been notified and if not, advise driver to call 911 to report the accident

      • Collect driver name, truck number, trailer number and location

      • Advise driver to take and send pictures of all vehicles involved in the accident as well as record the other driver’s insurance and contact information

      • Ask driver if truck is operable or needs to be towed

      • Determine whether shipment will be delayed and if so notify broker

      • Advise driver we will be calling them back shortly
