Which drivers are covered by the Clearinghouse?

Any driver who holds a CDL and meets the requirements for the CDL standards and the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Testing Program.

What is Consent for Limited Queries?

Consent of the driver to an employer to conduct a query of the CDL Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse to determine whether drug or alcohol violations exist for the driver.

What if the driver does not sign the Consent for the limited Queries?

Refusing to provide consent for limited queries to be conducted will result in the prohibition of the driver to operate a commercial motor vehicle.
