Detention/Layover missing

After hours call script

  • Collect driver name and truck number
  • Find out if driver has the load number for which detention/layover is missing. If they don’t know the load number, ask them for the pickup and delivery locations as well as the dates
  • If the call is received after hours or on the weekend, advise the driver that accounting will be notified and will contact them with a resolution at the start of the next business day
  • If call is received during regular business hours, advise driver, accounting will be reaching back to them shortly with a resolution
