Collect driver name, truck number, trailer number and location
Confirm shipper name to be sure you are looking at the proper load
Find out from driver if a reason for the cancellation was given
Advise driver to standby and we will call them back shortly with further instructions
During business hours contact dispatcher responsible for load
After hours and on weekends call broker and notify them of the cancellation. If they confirm cancellation request a $250 cancellation fee. If they suggest a different pickup number or provide alternative pickup instructions, please relay those to the driver
