Collect driver name, truck number, traielr number and location
Confirm receiver name to be sure you are looking at the proper load
Ask driver for the lumper amount and the name of the lumper service its payable to
Advise driver we will be calling him back shortly with payment
During business hours alert dispatcher responsible for load
After hours or during the weekend call broker and ask if they are able to issue payment for the lumper. If they are not able to pay themselves, request that they send you a revised rate confirmation showing we will be reimbursed for the lumper amount
