What to Expect on Your Safety Orientation?

Safety is our priority, and we go over everything before your new journey, becoming part of our team, begins.

All Personnel

The orientation will inform you about safe work practices, potential hazards in the workplace, and how to use personal protection. You will receive a copy of the Safety Policy during the safety orientation.


Drivers


In addition to the above orientation, all new drivers will receive information and guidance on
the following subjects:

• Hours of service
• Seatbelt usage
• Sleeper berth restraints
• Nonuse of company equipment for personal business
• Fraud
• Unauthorized passengers
• Accident reporting and review
• Emergency equipment
• Pre and post-trip inspections
• Backing
• Speed and space management
• Vehicle and cargo security
• Brake adjustments (per Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR) Section 396)
• Radar detectors
• Cell phone and other mobile communication device usage
• Flammables
