What to do when switching trailers?

Inspect the units, the tires, check the documents

1.When switching trailers always do a post-trip inspection on the unit that you are dropping off.

2. Make sure to take pictures of the tires and upload them to the Samsara app.

For the Omnitracs users send the pictures to your Dispatcher.

3. When picking up a new trailer do a pre-trip inspection on the unit that you are picking up.

4. Take pictures of the tires and upload them to the Samsara app.

5. Check the unit paperwork: DOT Annual Inspection - Current Report and Trailer Registration.

In case of missing or expired paperwork, call the Safety Department for assistance.

In case of defects, call the Maintenance Department for assistance.
